Turn the ignition key to the to power on the radio. The Update Trigger:
Installing the wrong version can completely brick (destroy) your radio, rendering it unusable.
Method B (Manual Menu): If nothing happens, go to and click a button labeled Update or Upgrade .
If the device freezes after an update, a factory reset (Settings > Restore Factory Settings) may be required, though this erases all user data.
Some 7010B units use a proprietary version of Windows CE rather than Android; these models typically have zero manufacturer updates and are highly likely to brick if a custom firmware is forced.
Use a MicroSD card or USB drive (usually 32GB or less) formatted to FAT32 .
Plug the prepared USB drive into the front USB port of the 7010B.
