For users running Resolume Avenue (which lacks Advanced Output slice routing) or those who want a quick canvas-based workaround, the Crop effect can simulate slices.

Go to the tab in Resolume and drag a Solid Color source into an empty clip slot on your strobe layer. Set the Solid Color to pure white ( R: 255, G: 255, B: 255 ). slice strobe resolume

Apply a or Slice Chaser effect, or simply animate the X/Y Position parameters of the clip. Set the animation behavior to BPM Sync instead of Timeline.
